Spilka Swing

Spilka Swing hinges are available in si sizes, designated M4 - M8. The width of the windows ranges from 388mm to 888mm, for further information please click for a more detailed overview of sizes.

Application
Windows with the Swing system solution are opened by a handle on the side, and can be closed or fixed in a ventilation position by means of an espagnolette locking system. Spilka Swing has a safety lock as standard, if the window is opened against this lock the initial opening will be about 80mm on the side of the window. The Swing window also has a second, wider ventilation position, preventing the wind from opening or shutting the window. For operating instructions of the hinge elements click here.

Maintenance (FDV)
Hinges are fitted in window profiles on the facades of buildings and in order to maintain functionality and desired service life, correct use and maintenance are required. We have prepared an overview with recommendations as to what is needed in terms of continuous maintenance, but we emphasise that local conditions such as weather, proximity to the sea/water etc. are decisive for how often such maintenance must be repeated.

Material types
Windows with the Swing hinge system can be produced in wood, PVCu and aluminium. Windows with opening functions of this kind are more in line with the Scandinavian window tradition and have so far mostly been used on wooden windows. We have however assisted customers with facilitating production of the windows in PVCu, and in aluminium.
